I specialize in interior photography with several years of experience capturing spaces in San Diego and beyond. My portfolio includes a wide range of interiors from luxurious residential homes to functional commercial spaces. What is included in your photography packages?
My photography services include pre-shoot consultations, the photo shoot, professional editing and retouching of images, and digital delivery of high-resolution photographs. Packages can be customized to meet specific project needs, whether it’s a single room shoot or a comprehensive portfolio of an entire property. Additional services such as drone photography or 360-degree virtual tours are also available.
How do you ensure that the photographs reflect our design vision?
Collaboration is key to capturing your design vision. Before the photo shoot, I conduct detailed discussions to understand your project goals, target audience, and essential elements to highlight. During the shoot, I pay close attention to the composition and styling to ensure that every image conveys the desired mood and design intent. I welcome feedback throughout the process to make sure the final images meet your expectations.
What is your turnaround time for delivering the final images?
Typically, the turnaround time for delivering final images is between 2 to 3 weeks after the photo shoot, depending on the project scale and specific requirements. However, if you need faster delivery for a pressing deadline, arrangements can be made to expedite the process. I strive to balance quick delivery with the meticulous detail that quality interior photography demands.
Can I use the photos on Instagram, my website, etc..?
One of my top priorities is to deliver photos of your work that you can’t wait to show off on all your social media platforms! My only request is that you credit the photos to: Khoi Ly and provide links to my Instagram, website, etc…
What’s included in my license?
My standard license never expires and allows you to use the final photos within your business’s accounts. Including: social media accounts and website, in-house electronic publishing, contest entry submissions, digital display including keynote and PowerPoint presentations, as well as many other promotional vehicles, such as brochures, local magazines, billboards, prints, posters, flyers and video.
What’s not included in my license?
Additional usage beyond what’s mentioned above, may require additional licenses (e.g., using one or more photos when promoting your business in a national or international magazine). Fees for additional usage will be determined via a standard “calculator” commonly used in commercial photography.
Who owns the rights to the photos after a shoot?
It is standard practice in my field that as the creator of the images, I retain full copyright on all my photographs. Please refer to “what’s included in my license?” on this page to see how you may use the photos you’ve selected.
You’re probably already very accustomed to my licensing model. For example, when you order a song through Apple Music or Spotify, you don’t actually own the song, you own a license to listen to that song on any of your personal devices whenever you’d like.
Can I share the photos with other parties ?
Third parties usage is not included in your license rights. Should a third party be interested in using the final photos they must obtain new licensing from me. However, I always recommend they enter the agreement prior to the shoot to receive a discount on the final cost.
What are your rates?
I like to begin each collaboration with a consult to discuss the scope of your project, as no two projects are alike. This conversation gives me a better understanding of the size of your space, how many photos you’re hoping for, how much time I will need to log for post-production, location/travel, intention for the photos, licensing and anything else you believe is critical. I offer competitive rates and can work within a time constraint, within reason, if it’s necessary.
